Jaden's first piano recital!

I was so nervous because I was playing next that I didn't start the camera at the beginning of his song. He did a great job. I am so proud of him for how hard he practice (It wasn't all that much nagging). I keep putting my hand there because I was trying to block the light from the lamp which was making it hard for me to see Jaden. Thankyou Julie for a wonderful recital. After we all played our pieces she got out her chime and we played christmas songs on them. The kids (and me) loved it.

Ella Turns 3!

We filled up the balloon at Jeremy's office. The girls had a blast being squished by 8 huge helium ballons.

Ella celebrated this year with her preschool friends, Kate, Alana, Whittney, and her best buddy Madison. The pinata was a big "hit"

Cake and presents, who could ask for more.

We love you Ella. Thankyou for your sweet smile and amazing hugs. You bring us joy everyday. I can't wait to share the next year with you.

What you say?

Quote from Jeremy from the progressive dinner we went to tonight.
"I'm glad were going to the Bennion's because I want to hear what he has to say... about what I have to say!"

Where have all the curls gone:(

Well it is official. Ella is no longer a baby. Today we cut off the last evidence of her babyhood, the adorable golden curls. As you can imagine it broke my heart to do it. My friend Carrie (the best hairstylist ever) had to comfort me before she cut them off. She did a great job and Ella was so happy to get her hair cut like a big girl. Jeremy shed some tears when he saw her (he'll deny it if you ask him, but it's the truth) She still looks adorable, and I still have those cheeks to kiss.

Kyla in the spotlight!

Kyla started taking ballet in September of this year with Ballet Rogue and she loves it. This winter they danced to "Frosty the Snowman" as you can tell from the adorable tutu's. I never thought that I would give birth to a ballerina, but this one was born for the spotlight. It has been so much fun watching her practice and perform. She has done a great job at taking the performances seriously. She would watch her dance on the computer and practice and practice everyday to get it just right. She was amazing. In January she is moving up to the next level. We are so proud of our little ballerina.

Mummy's and brains, oh my!

I love Halloween. This is what we ate for dinner last night. The brain was made out of peach jello, and the mummy was a version of chicken cordon blue. It was delicious. I hope you all have a spooky day.

Bobcat to Wolf!

Tonight Jaden attended his first pack meeting where he recieved his bobcat badge. He passed of the eight requirements in a week. I am so proud of him. He worked hard to memorize and pass off the requirements. He is now officialy a wolf. The only one in our ward for another two weeks. I tried to glue on the patches, but that didn't work out so well. He walked around the whole meeting holding his LDS badge to his stomach because the glue was falling off. I guess I'll have to break down and pull out the sewing machine, and learn how to use it. Good thing mom's coming to visit in a couple days. Maybe she can give me some pointers. We love you Jaden and are so proud of you.

Can dogs talk?

Ella just answered the phone when Jeremy called from work. The conversation went something like this.

"Ella King, how I can help you?"

"Hi Ella it's dad is Mom there?"

Ella heard "Is Mya there" (Mya being our dog) who at the time was sitting on Ella's feet

"Yes"

"Can she talk?"

"She has ears, but she can't talk"

Sorry, I just found that hilarious and wanted to record it for all time, and share it with all you fine folks.

Four Wheeling, what a way to spend a Saturday!

A special thanks to the Braggs for inviting us to go four wheeling with them on Saturday. We had a great time.

Out of the mouth of babes...

Since I use this as a family journal I had to write what Kyla said tonight. As I was tucking her into bed she asked me, "What about our selfish prayers, you know the ones we say by ourselves." Needless to say we took some time for them to have their "selfish" prayers.

Jeremy and Wendel Go Crazy!

Jeremy and his friend Wendel spent the weekend in LA to attend the BYU game. On friday they spent the day at Six Flags. As you can tell it looks like they had a good time, although you'll have to ask Wendel what he thinks about Armenian pancakes.

First Day of School!

Jaden entered 2nd grade today with Mrs. Coleman
Kyla is on her last year of preschool with Mrs. Horton
Ella will start preschool next Tuesday in a co-op with some friends from church.
All the kids loved thier first day of school. Jaden is under the impression that he is just going to do art all day everyday. Won't that be nice! Kyla has 5 kids in her class. One other girl and three little boys. She had a great time. And Ella can't wait to see Alena, Whittney, and Kate next week.
