The rain in Medford fell mainly on the runners!
Well it is all over. We had a great Saturday here in Medford with the annual Pear Blossom run. Jaden and Jeremy started our family off to a great start by running the Mayors mile. Jaden ran his first nonstop mile in an impressive 10 min. I was so proud. Jeremy also didn't stop even though he was pushing a stroller with 2 girls in it and both of the tires were flat. He is my hero! During all of this the rain continued to pour down. Afterward Jaden said he was really tired and he wanted to quit, but he remembered "our family motto", "We don't walk"! He was my inspiration. I ran the 10 mile race for the first time ever. It was great. I couldn't move after about 8 1/2 miles, but I still managed to cross the finish line under my goal time. I think my clothes weighed an extra 15 lbs.with all the rain water. We had a great time cheering for each other. The girls were amazing cheerleaders. I'm really glad we did it and everyone is looking forward to next year.

I am so proud of you also. Good job lissa. And, you can add an extra 2 miles to your total distance because of the rain. Why dont you put some air in the stroller tires?
