Today we slept in and Travis made us a delicious french toast breakfast. Once everyone was ready to go we drove to Weimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of Kauai. As you can see it was breathtaking. We only had to stop once or twice so Kathleen and I didn't get horribly car sick. After lunch we spent the afternoon at Secret beach. Our new favorite place. Jeremy and I spent time in the shade reading. So far I have made it through three books. Needless to say I am having a great time. Although I have to say this is to long to be away from my babies. I can't wait to get back and get big hugs. I miss you guys.

Na Pali Coast trail
4 miles uphill both ways, but it was the most beautiful 4 miles I've ever seen. The breeching whales at every overlook made the day unforgetable. We saw at least 20 whales breeching, it was incredible. We ended the day snorkling in the bay at the end of the trail. There were so many beautiful fish in only 6 feet of water.

Smith River in April, Brrrrrrrr!
46 degrees, which translates to very, very, very
COLD
Jeremy sporting his new scuba look.
Me and our instructor Todd before we started diving.
I would have worn 2 if it would have kept my face warmer. Did I mention it was COLD?
So we have completed our first open water dive. Slowly the feeling is coming back to my hands and feet. Next week we will become certified scuba divers. I think that will be the last cold water dive I do. I believe that I will specialize in tropical dives.
