Smith River in April, Brrrrrrrr!

The Smith River in April is approximately
46 degrees, which translates to very, very, very
COLD

Me and our instructor Todd before we started diving.

Me after my first dive, I don't care that I don't look stylish (to quote Ella).

I would have worn 2 if it would have kept my face warmer. Did I mention it was COLD?

So we have completed our first open water dive. Slowly the feeling is coming back to my hands and feet. Next week we will become certified scuba divers. I think that will be the last cold water dive I do. I believe that I will specialize in tropical dives.

I love to see people make sacrifices to better themselves. See like I said if you can dive Oregon this time of year everywhere else will seem like a tropical paradise.---Shane

You look just as cold as you did on the Matanuska low these many years ago!

you look like something off Yo gamma gamma on Nickalodian. Some alien sea creature. BUT, on the bright side, thats pretty rad to say that you can scuba.
